【當(dāng)主動(dòng)詞時(shí)，“be”在性質(zhì)上屬于接系動(dòng)詞(The Linking Verb)，后面要有名詞、形容詞、地方副詞或短語作補(bǔ)足語(The Complement)。例如：

這個(gè)男子是一位科學(xué)教師

2. Mary\'s new dresses are colourful.

這四個(gè)都是陳述句，可以變成疑問句，方法簡單，把主語和“be”或助動(dòng)詞對(duì)換位置即可：

當(dāng)“be”要在祈使句中出現(xiàn)時(shí)，它必須借重助動(dòng)詞“do”或“don\'t”之助，如：

二、查主謂是否一致

在檢查謂語動(dòng)詞的時(shí)態(tài)和語態(tài)是否正確的同時(shí)，還要注意檢查該動(dòng)詞在人稱和數(shù)上是否與主語保持了一致。例如：

1.Anyone may borrow books, and it cost nothing to borrow them. (NMET\' 94)cost應(yīng)改為costs，因 其主語是it(為形式主語)，且上下文均為一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。

2.The new boy or girl in school quickly become one of the class…(NMET\'93)由or連接的兩個(gè)以上的主語應(yīng)由靠近謂語的主語來決定謂語的單復(fù)數(shù)形式，故become應(yīng)改為becomes。

可以講地道的口語來聽力.發(fā)音,語調(diào)和句子結(jié)構(gòu)請(qǐng)不要中國化.既然能說,當(dāng)然能聽懂.當(dāng)然作有點(diǎn)難.
