任務(wù)型語(yǔ)言教學(xué)是交際語(yǔ)言教學(xué)的一種途徑,其教學(xué)思想仍然是在交際語(yǔ)言教學(xué)的理論框架之內(nèi)。20世紀(jì)80年代,國(guó)外不少的第二語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)的研究者如Long Williams和Nunan等都系統(tǒng)地提出了任務(wù)型語(yǔ)言教學(xué)的主張,并從不同的角度對(duì)任務(wù)做了界定:
(1)Long(1985)從非語(yǔ)言的角度把任務(wù)定義為:為自己或他人所做的一種無(wú)償或者有償?shù)墓ぷ。如填?xiě)表格、買(mǎi)鞋子、訂機(jī)票等。也就是說(shuō),任務(wù)是人們?cè)谌粘I睢⒐ぷ骱陀螒蛑兴龅母鞣N各樣的事情。
(2)Nunan從交際的角度認(rèn)為:交際任務(wù)是學(xué)習(xí)者使用目的語(yǔ)來(lái)理解領(lǐng)悟、處理問(wèn)題、發(fā)揮創(chuàng)造、相互交流的課堂教學(xué)活動(dòng)。
(3)Bygate,Sketan和Swain(2001)從學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)的角度認(rèn)為:任務(wù)是一種受學(xué)習(xí)者的選擇所影響的一種活動(dòng),并且可以根據(jù)學(xué)習(xí)者自己的理解而變化的活動(dòng)。這個(gè)活動(dòng)需要學(xué)習(xí)者為了實(shí)現(xiàn)某個(gè)目標(biāo)而有意義地使用語(yǔ)言。
因此,筆者對(duì)任務(wù)型語(yǔ)言教學(xué)的理解是:設(shè)定一個(gè)任務(wù),讓學(xué)生在完成任務(wù)的過(guò)程中習(xí)得語(yǔ)言。而任務(wù)簡(jiǎn)言之就是“做事”,去做一件富有意義并且與真實(shí)世界相關(guān)聯(lián)的事,促進(jìn)學(xué)生情感的激發(fā)和動(dòng)力的生成?傊,對(duì)英語(yǔ)教師來(lái)說(shuō),重要的不是定義,而是運(yùn)用。只要我們了解了任務(wù)型語(yǔ)言教學(xué)的理論依據(jù)和基本思路,就可以自己發(fā)揮、創(chuàng)造、逐步形成自己行之有效的教學(xué)模式。
2.任務(wù)的結(jié)構(gòu)組成
